This high-quality external antenna can add substantial range to your gateway. When used with a Helium, Things Network, or other LoRaWAN®-technology gateway, and mounted outside at an elevated location, this antenna can improve the range dramatically. (MCCI testing has shown that the combination of a good antenna, low-loss cable, and elevation above ground level can change the gateway range from less than 1 km to more than 10 km. Performance in any given case will depend on installation and local conditions.)
