MCCI Pressure Sensor 4-meter Probe with Heater

The customized pressure sensor from MCCI® measures -14.5 psi to 30 psi. This stable and reliable device accurately monitors the pressure of oil, sap, fuel, air, and water. Constructed with 316 stainless steel and high-grade plastic housing, the sensor incorporates an integrated heat resistor to ensure enhanced performance in freezing and lower temperature conditions. Terminated with a standard genuine JST-XH connector, the unit easily interfaces with MCCI Catena® IoT boards as well as other controllers or data logger units. It delivers a linear output of 0.5-4.5V or 4-20mA, corresponding directly to the measured pressure.

Potted in a stainless-steel body with a diameter of 22.90 mm and a height of 47.5 mm, the sensor comes with a 4 m cable. The genuine JST-XH connector, featuring three positions, is designed for direct mating with MCCI Catena boards.

At the end of the probe, a dedicated two‑position JST‑XH plug provides access to the heater resistor’s terminals. A 5V supply applied to these terminals turn ON the heater, ensuring optimal performance in freezing and lower temperature conditions.

Deploy one of MCCI's Catena boards to read the pressure data and transmit wirelessly via The Things Network, Helium, or other LoRaWAN® networks; or use Sigfox.
