The EM41x-RDL is a high-performance non-contact radar distance and liquid level sensor based on millimeter-wave radar technology. By operating at higher frequencies, it delivers stable, accurate measurements over long distances and remains largely unaffected by challenging environmental conditions such as temperature fluctuations, dust, vapor, condensate, or acoustic noise.

Designed for harsh and demanding environments, the EM41x-RDL features an IP68 waterproof, fully sealed enclosure and a PVDF housing that provides exceptional resistance to corrosion, wear, and compression. The sensor requires no routine maintenance and supports ATEX Zone 0 compliance (EM411-RDL only), making it suitable for hazardous areas.

The EM41x-RDL accurately measures the distance between the sensor and liquids of various types, including freshwater, wastewater, seawater, and high-concentration brine. It is ideal for applications such as sewers, rivers, reservoirs, storage tanks, and high-salt mist environments.

Milesight offers both LoRaWAN® and Cellular versions to meet different connectivity requirements. The LoRaWAN version integrates seamlessly with Milesight LoRaWAN gateways and the Milesight Development Platform for remote, visualized data management, while the Cellular version supports multiple application modes for compatibility with diverse IoT platforms.
