Nexelec MOUNT+ Universal mounting base

The Nexelec MOUNT+ is a universal mounting base designed for retrofitting Nexelec detectors onto existing wall or ceiling fixing points from other brands — without drilling new holes. MOUNT+ adds a magnetic structure to the standard MOUNT platform, enabling pull-out detection on compatible Nexelec detectors. Compatible with a wide range of Nexelec smoke, CO, and heat detectors, MOUNT+ is sold in packs of 50.

MOUNT+ is made from polycarbonate plastic with a low profile (100 × 100 × 2 mm). It attaches with screws and plugs (included) or with the optional TAPE adhesive fastener. A lockable design reduces the risk of detector removal in rental accommodation.

• Lockable mounting: Base locks to reduce the risk of detector removal in rental housing and managed properties.
• TAPE adhesive compatible: Can be installed without screws using the Nexelec TAPE adhesive fastener (sold separately) — approved for EN14604/EN50291/NF292 certified detectors.
• Certified installation device: Approved for use with Nexelec detectors certified to EN14604, EN50291, and NF292.
• Professional pack: Sold in packs of 50 bases (reference S005-PRO).

Applications

• Replacement of other brands' smoke, CO, or heat detectors with compatible Nexelec products in rental housing and managed properties
• Large-scale renovation deployments where existing mounting holes must be reused
• Installations requiring pull-out detection for anti-tamper monitoring
• Installations where drilling new holes is not permitted or practical

Installation

1. Remove the old detector from its existing base.
2. Unscrew the old base from the wall or ceiling.
3. Position MOUNT+ over the existing holes and screw in place using the supplied screws and plugs, or use the TAPE adhesive fastener (sold separately).
4. Position the Nexelec detector on the MOUNT+ base and turn a quarter turn to the right to lock it in place.

Important Notes

• Compatible with Nexelec INSAFE+, ORIGIN, ORIGIN+, GUARD, GUARD+, HEAT+, WARM (smoke/heat) and SECURE+, AIR, AIR+ (CO) detectors. Not compatible with INSAFE or SECURE (use MOUNT S004-PRO for those), nor with room sensors.
• Pull-out detection requires a compatible Nexelec detector. Check the detector's user manual to confirm pull-out detection support.
• AFNOR Certification recommends fixing detectors with screws and plugs. Refer to the "Installation" section of the Nexelec user manual for your specific detector.
• TAPE adhesive fastener is an optional accessory sold separately (S003-PRO, pack of 100).
