Nexelec FEEL+ 2-in-1 Room Sensor

The Nexelec FEEL+ is a 2-in-1 LoRaWAN room sensor that measures temperature and humidity in offices, homes, and other indoor environments. FEEL+ adds an E-Ink screen to the FEEL platform, giving occupants a direct on-device reading of current conditions without any app or gateway. All measurements also transmit wirelessly to a secure cloud platform for remote monitoring and data logging.

FEEL+ combines high-accuracy sensing with a built-in E-Ink display in a compact enclosure suited for free-standing placement or wall mounting. The screen is fully configurable locally or remotely via NFC. Configuration is done wirelessly via NFC using the Nexelec TOUCH smartphone app — no tools, no wiring, no need to open the enclosure.

• E-Ink screen: Displays current temperature and humidity directly on the sensor. Low power consumption, high readability even in direct sunlight, no reflections or excessive brightness. Screen layout is fully configurable locally via NFC or remotely via LoRaWAN.
• Temperature measurement: Resolution 0.1°C, accuracy ±0.2°C, range −30°C to +70°C
• Humidity measurement: Resolution 0.5% RH, accuracy ±2% RH, range 0–100% RH
• LoRaWAN connectivity: LoRaWAN only (X280LR)
• Multi-band LoRaWAN: Configurable for EU868, US915, AU923, and other regional frequencies via NFC
• NFC configuration: Over 25 parameters adjustable via Nexelec TOUCH app — measurement interval, transmission interval, LED/buzzer indicators, radio frequency band, and more. Settings can be made through the packaging before the battery is installed.
• Data transmission modes: Periodic and bundled datalog with redundancy (each frame sent three times to maximize gateway reception)
• End-to-end encryption: Double AES-128 encryption on all transmitted data
• Long battery life: Up to 15 years(1) with three SAFT LS14500 2600 mAh lithium batteries. Ships with all three batteries installed; the first slot alone provides over 6 years of autonomy(1).
• On-demand measurement: Front button triggers an immediate measurement and data transmission
• Anti-tamper: Lockable mounting base; alert message sent if the sensor is removed
• Mounting: Free-standing, wall-mounted (screws/plugs included), or 3M adhesive fastener (included) — no drilling required
• 270° air circulation: Numerous side openings for better ambient air sampling
• Insect barrier: Integrated pest screen protects the sensing chamber
• Calibration: Sensor calibration certificate from a COFRAC-accredited independent metrology laboratory

Important Notes

• Intended for indoor use only. Operating range: 0°C to +50°C, 0–99% RH non-condensing. Note: the operating temperature lower limit is 0°C, not −20°C as on other sensors in this range.
• FEEL+ supports LoRaWAN only. There is no Sigfox variant.
• LoRaWAN gateway and network server not included. A LoRaWAN network must be available at the installation site.
• Battery life estimate is not guaranteed; actual life depends on configuration, environment, and network conditions. Use the Nexelec VOLT tool to calculate projected autonomy for your deployment.
• NFC configuration requires the free Nexelec TOUCH app (Android or iOS).
