The Nexelec SAFE+ is a 3-in-1 LoRaWAN room sensor that measures carbon monoxide (CO), temperature, and humidity. Designed for lessors, property managers, and building maintenance specialists, SAFE+ provides remote monitoring and real-time alerts for carbon monoxide hazards alongside ambient condition tracking.

SAFE+ combines a 10-year sealed electrochemical CO sensor with temperature and humidity sensing in a compact wall or ceiling-mount enclosure. A digital logbook via QR code tracks installation and maintenance history across large fleets. Unlike the other sensors in the Nexelec range, SAFE+ is not configurable via NFC — it ships ready to use.

  • Carbon monoxide detection: Electrochemical CO sensor, resolution 1 ppm, range 0–1,000 ppm. Reacts quickly to dangerous CO concentrations and triggers an audible alarm and LED alert to warn occupants immediately.

  • Silence function: Large touch-sensitive button on the front of the sensor stops the alarm or puts the sensor on standby for 10 minutes without removing it from its base.
  • 12-hour beep delay: Temporarily silences fault beeps until the sensor is replaced — reduces nuisance calls in rental housing.
  • Remote monitoring: CO alarm events, fault alerts, and low-battery warnings transmitted wirelessly. Fire alarms are not transmitted by default; configurable if remote monitoring is required.
  • Remote maintenance: Real-time alerts for product faults, low batteries, and other critical parameters — simplifies fleet management across thousands of sensors.
  • Digital logbook: QR code on each sensor links to an online logbook tracking installation, maintenance, and replacement history. Integrates with property management software via API.
  • Anti-tamper: Lockable mounting base reduces risk of removal in rental housing; alert triggered if the sensor is removed.
  • Insect barrier: Integrated pest screen protects the sensing chamber.
  • Mounting: Wall, ceiling, or free-standing. Includes compact BASE+ mounting base (30 mm diameter), FLEX free-standing bracket, and FIX 3M adhesive fastener — no drilling required. Universal base compatible with many third-party mounting holes.
  • LoRaWAN connectivity: LoRaWAN only (X852LR, 915 MHz)

Important Notes

  • Intended for indoor use only. Operating range: −10°C to +50°C, 10–95% RH non-condensing.
  • SAFE+ is not a certified CO detector and is not a substitute for a certified carbon monoxide alarm. Consult the regulations in force in your country regarding CO detection requirements.
  • The product is approved for wall mounting at a distance of 30–60 cm below the ceiling for accurate temperature and humidity readings.
  • Fire alarms are not transmitted by default. If remote monitoring of CO alarm events is required, the device settings must be adjusted.
  • Battery life of 10 years is not guaranteed; actual life may vary. Refer to the "Precautions and Limitations" section of the user manual.
  • SAFE+ supports LoRaWAN only at 915 MHz (X852LR). There is no Sigfox variant and no EU868 variant listed.
  • LoRaWAN gateway and network server not included. A LoRaWAN network must be available at the installation site.
