Raspberry Pi Active Cooler

The Raspberry Pi Active Cooler for Raspberry Pi 5 is a dedicated clip-on cooling solution that combines a single-piece anodised aluminium heatsink with a temperature-controlled blower fan. It keeps Raspberry Pi 5 at a comfortable operating temperature even under sustained heavy load, and is also compatible with the official Raspberry Pi 5 Case.

• Single-piece anodised aluminium heatsink: Extruded and milled for efficient heat spreading across the entire heatsink body and fins.
• Temperature-controlled blower fan: Radial blower fan mounted on the heatsink by three screws; speed is controlled automatically via PWM from the Raspberry Pi 5 four-pin fan header.
• Tachometer feedback: Fan speed is reported back to Raspberry Pi 5 for monitoring and control.
• Spring-loaded push pins: Clip directly into the dedicated mounting holes on Raspberry Pi 5 for a secure, tool-free fit.
• Pre-applied thermal pads: Factory-fitted thermal pads ensure immediate, reliable heat transfer on installation.
• Case compatible: Fits inside the official Raspberry Pi 5 Case.

Important Notes

We recommend that the Active Cooler is not removed once fitted to Raspberry Pi 5. Removal will cause the push pins and thermal pads to degrade and is likely to cause product damage. Discontinue use if the push pins are damaged, deformed, or do not clip securely.
