This listing is for the ED-CM5ACOOLER: active cooler for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5). Contact us if you have questions about compatibility with your CM5 carrier board.
The ED-CM5ACOOLER is an active cooling solution purpose-built for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5). Combining a precision-cut aluminium profile heatsink with an integrated temperature-controlled radial blower fan and pre-installed thermal conductive silicone, it delivers outstanding heat dissipation -- reducing CPU temperature by 27°C in a 25°C ambient environment. Easy to install with included screws and nylon gaskets, the ED-CM5ACOOLER is the essential thermal accessory for CM5-based designs running at full performance. Reviewed and recommended by Jeff Geerling, Tom's Hardware, CNX Software, and other leading Raspberry Pi media outlets.
Key Features
- Designed for: Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5)
- Construction: Aluminium profile, CNC cut -- durable and excellent thermal conductivity

Installation Notes
- Remove the white protective paper from the thermal silicone before installing.
- Check your CM5 carrier board connector height before selecting nylon gaskets: use M2.5×H1.5 gaskets for 1.5mm connector height, or M2.5×H3 gaskets for 3mm connector height.
- If designing a custom case, position heatsink openings close to the blower fan air outlet for best airflow.
- After mounting, plug the fan power cable into the FAN connector on the motherboard.
