The ED-Pi4Case-OB is a high-quality open aluminium CNC enclosure designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 4, combining passive cooling performance with a sleek, professional appearance. Both the top and bottom covers provide passive cooling via thermal pads and the aluminium body, reducing CPU temperature by approximately 25°C (81.9°C → 56.5°C at full CPU load) and enabling continuous operation at the maximum frequency of 1800MHz, completely silently. The open-frame design keeps all Raspberry Pi 4 interfaces fully accessible at all times, while also protecting the board from dust and physical damage. Constructed from sheet metal (top cover) and aluminium profile (bottom cover) with an oxidized surface finish.

Installation Notes
- Remove the white protective paper from the thermal pads on both covers before installing the Pi 4.
- Check that the tops of all 3 nylon posts in the top cover are level. If any post is higher than the others, press it into the mounting hole until level.
- Align the Raspberry Pi 4 with the reserved holes on the bottom cover and place it in position.
- Place the top cover down over the Raspberry Pi 4 and insert 3 M2.5×11 screws and 1 M2.5×4 screw into the holes. Use the included allen key and a cross-head screwdriver to tighten all screws and secure the assembly.
- Raspberry Pi 4 is not included.
