The ED-Pi5Case-B is a premium fully-enclosed aluminium CNC case for the Raspberry Pi 5, delivering significantly better passive cooling than an open-frame design. Both the top and bottom panels are in direct thermal contact with the Raspberry Pi 5 via thermal pads, allowing the entire aluminium enclosure to act as a heatsink -- cooling the CPU, PMU, and wireless module simultaneously. The result is up to 20°C--25°C CPU temperature reduction, completely silently, with no fans or moving parts. A semi-transparent PC wireless window on the case ensures strong Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity is maintained despite the full metal enclosure. Installation Notes
- Remove the white protective paper from the thermal silicone on both the top and bottom covers before installing the Raspberry Pi 5.
- Check that the tops of all 4 nylon posts in the top cover are level. If any post is higher than the others, press it into the mounting hole until level.
- Get the button from the accessory set and insert it from inside the bottom cover into the reserved hole.
- Align the Raspberry Pi 5 with the reserved holes on the bottom cover and install it downward onto the bottom cover.
- Place the top cover down over the Raspberry Pi 5 and insert 4 M2.5×11 screws. Use the included 1.5mm allen key to tighten the screws and secure the assembly.
- Raspberry Pi 5 is not included.
